Suggestions on the game of Rozz itself.
submarines and destroyers added in water world9/20/15 8:38 PM
my suggestion is adding submarines and destroyers in Waterworlds. The submarine would be able to move one hex at a time. destroyer has the ability of moving to hex at a time. submarine would be invisible to all players except the owner. when the submarine wishes to fire upon a target they have to be in the adjacent hex firing at a target hex similar to the jet. whenever a submarine is firing it is visible for that one round to all players. this is suggested such that the destroyer would have the opportunity to know where to start in the hunt for the submarine.all the destroyer has to do to destroy the submarine is to be in the same hex as the submarine at the same round.

this would open up a lot of opportunity for new maps with water worlds. maps such as naval battles, island surrounded by a large amount of water, as well as a large body of water surrounded by land on the outside.

so what is everybody’s thoughts on this suggestion. Please excuse any typos due to voice input on cell phone, it is only so accurate.

Great ideas, Duh. The engine cannot currently handle "invisible" pieces, but we could always enhance the engine. How would that work as a board game, though? I will have to think about that: whether invisible pieces are possible while retaining the board-game principle where you reveal your commands each round.

A similar concept is the "fog of war" used in many games. As a board game, you would have to keep a list of hidden things on a piece of paper, but the mechanics of that are still fuzzy.
