Suggestions on the game of Rozz itself.
The App Game Modes2/14/13 12:58 PM
Hi. I’m known as zeon23445 on the online and mobile community. I’ve had over 230,000 seperate people play my games. And I’ve had a particular interest in the Rozz Android App lately. And I would like to be an ideas consultant, And my first idea is this: 2 New game modes. Senario;Allied (you can have up to 2 Allies depending on settings, and the other idea is DoubleElimination;Senario. Only played when 2 Humans play, AI Depends (atleast 1) , you must conquer (or eliminate) 2 seperate bases to win. It creates a bigger perspective in defence and offence when you must hold, contain, and gain territory in more than one area.

Great to have you aboard, Zeon! Allies (team victories) is one thing I’ve had in mind for Rozz for a long time, along with tournaments, that keep ending up on the back burner, but hopefully not for too much longer. I like your idea of the double-elimination scenario. The scenario design can actually support that since it awards victory after a point setting is reached, and the current scenarios award that amount (as a production, same as INF from a GOV) when you occupy an enemy HQ. The AI is also designed generically, to play with any scenario and item catalog; it would have been easier to code the AI with the items in mind (buy ARMOR at an enemy’s doorstep) but I’ve held to the principle that the AI needs to figure out the items too (this ARMOR piece is useful at an enemy’s doorstep because it occupies territory, has resolutions against another territory-occupying piece, and has flexible strikes).

So far we haven’t been too successful with visibility for Rozz and I welcome your ideas in that regard also. One thing to consider is that a version with online play is in the works, probably another week or two for an initial release, and that should bring more opportunity for referrals and things like that. Tournaments would be cool, with "Rozz Victor" t-shirts or something along those lines.
