Here are some standard openings Ive seen:
1. IC and GOV, preparing industry, expansion, and defense.
2. IC and INF, preparing industry and expansion, but saving for a PATRIOT.
3. TRANS and INF*10, preparing for expansion.
4. LRNUKE, preparing to strike IC targets.
5. GOV, preparing expansion and retaining options.
Lets hear about other successful ideas!

So far, Ive found just an IC to be the most versatile opening.
If the enemy buys a LRNUKE, you buy patriot.
If the enemy buys a transport+inf, you buy 15 inf (and then you get an armor for defense before they can if you plan it right).
If the enemy does something else, you can do whatever you want. I prefer doing nothing, then buying another IC the next turn, as this gets you IC*2 at the end of round 3! Last edited by RozzManager, 1/23/14 11:20 AM |

IC*2 plus CC is ideal, if you can get that setup going well the game is really yours to lose at that point. |

So the best opening really is just an IC. My "standard" is
1: IC
2: GOV and ARMOR
3: TRANS and INF move

And bombers work best vs Industry in the long run, anyways. Especially if you can purchace bombers to Rozz. Last edited by SILVERLITESWORD, 5/6/15 1:07 PM |
