There is a "force round" option to just play the round when players arent active, but perhaps a player should be automatically resigned from the game if he has three rounds forced with no commands prepared. I like that idea. Youre right that it presents more things to consider because the resigned player still has a HQ for invasion. Dissolving is one option, but the flip side might be a player who is surrounded and doubtful to hold out a few more rounds, resigning to pluck victory away from his besieger. This is worthy of more discussion. Since the old-time players havent been around, well need to bring in some new deep thinkers.

Solution: Simply make it a Starting Round Resignation. you only get the chances to resign within the amount of time for automatic Resignation from skip-turn Limit Counts. Which still eliminates spammers, and also Long Term Sore Loser Spammers. |
