The development hours far exceeded what we had expected, since we had hoped to leverage more of the original applet code, but it turned out that the single-user design needed a lot of refactoring for a multi-user application.
Hopefully, some day we’ll have the time again to add the new command control and animations to the web experience, but for now it would be great just having a few more people playing the game.
