Matt drew first blood against Warlock today in the Rozz World Championship, Game 2265 (http://www.playrozz.com/play.jsp?game=2265). Both players opened with IC and INF purchases (preserving the option of a PATRIOT on the second round) but Warlock choosing the interesting INF * 2 variation.
On the second round, Warlock pursued a financial track with two Industry Units, but this ultimately proved untenable with Matt’s transport on the next round posing some tough questions for the defending side.
Warlock opted for ARMOR purchases to counter the usual incursion of troops by way of transport, but Matt deviated with BOMBER and MRNUKE purchases that left Warlock with a lot of vulnerable targets on the ground, and the prospect of a patriot missile purchase consuming his remaining funds.
