how do i change my security settings

When Oracle took over Java they unfortunately released a version with a big security hole, so the fix was to make it hard to run any applets, even those like the Rozz applet which was written well before the security hole.

To get the applet to run, you need to modify your Java settings (on Windows, Control Panel -> Java) where there’s a security tab you can lower to medium (Java applications will be allowed to run after presenting a security prompt). Then, restarting your browser and playing Rozz you’ll get the security prompt but the applet should load. Then, the first time you go to set a command you’ll get another security prompt for scripting, since the applet is interactive with the rest of the page.

Hope that helps! I’m hoping also that they come up with a better security model for applets, say after ensuring that you are running an up-to-date Java version.
